ENUFF PC's powerful capabilities
provide you with the tools to give each user the best of
computing by doing the following:
- Manage when and for how long each
user can be on the computer/Internet by setting daily and
weekly time limits
- Setup as many user accounts as
required
- Block access or limit time on
specific programs such as games and chat-rooms
- Access a user log to see who has
used the computer and when
- Operate ENUFF PC on a network and
centralize the administration of user settings on one
computer
- Quickly access the ENUFF
Configuration panel and revise day/time limits for add and
delete users
- Prevent users from installing new
programs or games and accessing Control Panel functions, by
hiding components such as CD-Rom, Hard Drive
etc.
- Allow users to see how much time is
left at any time
ENUFF PC is compatible with all
Internet connections (eg. dialup modem, high-speed cable,
DSL and wireless)
ENUFF PC gives administrators complete
control of their facility's computers in a business
environment. It offers a very simple user interface
which makes installing and using it a breeze. Making
computers available in multi user areas all of a sudden
becomes a simple task.
ENUFF PC is very flexible. Users don't
need to use their 2 or 5 hour daily time block all at once.
They can pause their time and continue later on. But,
if they have to be off the computer say by 10:30 PM, ENUFF
will enforce this limit whether they have used all their time
or not.
ENUFF PC also incorporates a useful
feature which can be used by administrators (parents, business
owners, managers, etc) who themselves find it challenging to
balance their computer or Internet time in order to complete a
task or spend time with their family. You set it to block
Internet access for the administrator (1 hour for example) and
ENUFF will do exactly that!
Multi-level protection prevents
users from...
- Changing the computer's date and
time
- Changing any configurations set by
the administrators
- Changing any critical Windows
settings in an effort to bypass it (such as through the
Registry, the Task Manger, Date/Time settings
etc.)
- Bypassing, shutting down or deleting
ENUFF PC
Listed below is a partial outline of more specific
things you can do with ENUFF PC.
- Allow lots of time on the
computer but limit Internet access say to 2 hrs per
day
- Configure it so that users are forced to take breaks
every hour or two. This helps them break up their daily
block of time (good for their eyesight, do some chores,
homework etc.) and it gives other people a chance to use the
same equipment.
- Set it so that a user for example
has lots of time on the computer each day but can only
use 3-4 programs (great feature for children who need to
be doing school work and should only be using a word
processor!)
- Allow users say 3 hours on the
Internet but only 30 minutes on chat lines (or no
chatting at all)
- Give children Internet access
(or access to some game) only when you are at home
and when you feel that they have earned this
privilege
- Give children extra time on a day
when you are still at work and if they justifiably need
more time to finish their work
- When you want to restrict certain programs,
approach a user's configuration by telling ENUFF PC to
either...
- Let this user work with any program except the ones I
select, or
- Let this user work only with the programs I select and
nothing else. This option prevents the user from
installing/running new programs without your permission.
- If you prefer to use a language other than
English so that users can better understand the messages
that ENUFF displays for them, then ENUFF PC will let you
choose to work with most languages other than English.
More specific to businesses...
- Make a computer available to your staff but limit the
programs they can use
- Make a computer available but block or limit Internet
access
- Set up ENUFF PC across a network (wired or
wireless) and manage its operation from one PC.
- When ENUFF is configured on a network, each user can
work with any one of the computers only for the total
time s/he is allowed each day
- In a hotel environment, ENUFF PC allows
administrators to set up one account for each room having
identical time limits, using ENUFF's quick account
duplication feature
- In a library or other public access area, ENUFF
offers a unique feature whereby staff can set up a few
accounts (15, 30, 60 min long) and a librarian/admin. can
sign in a library patron. When his/her time expires, this
person is off the computer with no arguments. This account
resets its time automatically and the administrator can then
sign in the next person using a single password
- Quick account resetting features which allows
Internet cafe administrators to run their business
effectively
ENUFF PC is the only program of its
kind which handles hundreds of individual users without the
need to create new windows profiles.
